DEEP WOUND FILLED WITH MAGGOTS

Friday,1st July 2016

This white - black beauteous cow "Cadbury cow" (Cadbury because it looks like a cow advertised in Cadbury's advertisements) was rescued  by
SGACC in collaboration with Kamdhenu Trust. Cow was spotted by the residents at GazipurIt was on the road and in a very critical condition. SGACC came to its rescue! And cow was bought to shelter by "kamdhenu Mangal parivar ambulance"
On the spot examination by our team showed that the cow had deep wound on its hip joint. The wound was filled with maggots! The cow was provided with immediate treatment and care. We thank the complainant for the donation of Rupees 500/-
The cow  is now recovering at SGACC shelter with round the clock treatment. We hope the wound will heal properly in  no time :)

India has 150 million cows, each of them giving an average of less than 200 litres of milk per year. If they could be fed and looked after, they can give 11,000 litres, as Israeli cows do. That would provide milk for the whole world. Let's all initiate helping hand for the cause and help some animals to live better lives.
